
President
Carlos Johnson -
Carlos is responsible for the general supervision and organisation of the club, ensuring that the club is well run, well attended, and achieving it's various objectives. Carlos encourages communication and leadership development, and oversees the general administration of the club.
Vice President Education
Simon Hull and Julian Lamb -
are responsible for promoting the Toastmasters educational program to club members, making sure all members understand the importance of excellent evaluations and know how to evaluate. They also oversee the club's meeting schedule to ensure as far as possible that both the club and individual members are able to meet their goals.
Vice President Membership
Johan Bryssinck -
The Vice President Membership is responsible for orientation of new members to the Toastmasters program and to the club. If you are interested in becoming a member of Broadgate Speakers in the City then please speak to Johan!
Vice President Public Relations
Simon Hull -
is responsible developing and implement ways to publicise the Club to local organisations and prospective new members, and also represent the Club to both local and national media.
Treasurer
Patrick Moran -
Patrick is responsible for the club's finances and financial reporting. This includes preparing and reporting against an annual budget, operating our bank account, collecting membership dues from new and existing members and paying the club's dues to Toastmasters International in the US, paying club expenses, keeping records of all transactions, and supporting the Club Secretary in the timely submission of semi-annual reports to TMI.
Secretary
Is responsible for all Club records, administration and correspondence. With support from the Treasurer and Vice President Membership & Mentoring, the Club Secretary is responsible for sending our semi-annual returns to Toastmasters International on time. The Club Secretary also ensures we have all the stationery and supplies we need - training materials, awards, ribbons, trophies etc and responds to all enquiries from prospective new members and guests sent to the committee through our website.
Sergeant at Arms

The Sergeant at Arms is the person who warmly greets all our guests as they arrive, and introduces them to other members of the club. He/she ensures that the venue is prepared and ready for our meetings, & that all equipment is in good working order. Abi encourages and mentors new members to act as Sargeant at Arms in one of their early Toastmasters support roles.
Mentoring Co-ordinator
Caroline Swain -
The Mentor will ensure that new members or an existing member who needs help to improve their speaking and leadership skills that a mentor is assigned to that member.
Special Events Co-ordinator
Robert Cole -
Organises special events that are different from the normal Club evening.
From Workshops, to Speakers' Corner to Social Events. We like to add a bit of variety to our club every once in a while.
Advanced Member Co-ordinator
Ian Halliday -
Ensures Toastmasters that have completed their first speaker or leadership manual continue to be actively involved in the club and delivering advanced speeches.
Immediate Past President
Andy O'Sullivan-
To be there to give advise to the President, encouraging the club to move forward and to achieve even greater success for the coming year.
